Students’ attitude and acceptance of ICT enhanced instruction

Students' attitude and acceptance of ICT enhanced instruction

Based on the new technology initiative fir student based instruction, the research will explore on the attitudes and acceptance of high school students in Ghana secondary schools towards ICT enhanced instruction. Comparative case study analysis applies to a) student attitude of ICT b) student acceptance of ICT, this will be along with preliminary literature studies dealing to students and ICT, Ghana perspective. In addition, the study will have to investigate relationship between Ghana students' attitudes and acceptance of ICT instruction upon placing certain variables such as computer attributes, competence, access and personal characteristics. To find out if high school students have positive and or negative attitudes toward ICT based instruction. The need to point to the importance of students' vision of ICT, experiences with it and education condition that surround its introduction into learning in shaping their attitudes and acceptance levels toward ICT and subsequent diffusion in classroom related practices.

The one goal of research is to investigate students' attitudes as well as acceptance towards the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in reading skills course offered at Ghana secondary school. A total of 30 high school students will have to participate in case survey approach and to follow week long ICT based integrated reading skills course. To examine high school students' attitudes and acceptance towards ICT and new learning environment, survey based questionnaire will be conducted in a form of survey statements using a five point scaling system ranging from strongly disagree down to strongly agree response ratios. Thus, to find out some difficulties faced by students noting in applications for ICT instruction based on the reading class/course and find ways to realize positive attitudes towards online learning. Advances in the information and communication technologies have been perceived as the solution to problems relating to these issues.

The literature on the uses of ICT provided much information describing the design and development of technical framework for supporting learning environment. Awareness of information available on the Internet, access to the Internet, age, perceived effectiveness, and usefulness of ICT in study are to bee suggested to be important factors in determining students' attitude and acceptance of ICT. The aim of study is to identify factors that address such two known factors as mentioned awhile ago of high school students to enable appropriate use of ICT into their learning areas.

Today, several schools have enhanced classroom courses with online learning systems. It takes time to familiarize people with young technology and there is no exemption for the academe. The comparative case study is to provide an in-depth understanding on implementation of ICT based platform in secondary school adoption. The study will have emphasis on investigating Ghana students' adoption of certain ICT learning system and seek to find out crucial factors influencing student adoption to the instruction. Know such resistance to accept ICT by high school students. Thus, teachers might be unable to find effective ways to use ICT ways in classes and students may encounter problems in using ICT properly.

Methodology

A total of 20 high school students at Ghana secondary school will be selected to participate in the case survey, linking to survey statements in relevance to ICT attitude and acceptance level along with imperative research aspects and processes. Fifteen survey statements will be crafted in order to place ample weight on case survey method along with comprehensive literature studies and journal selections, serving as key themes of the research undertaking. The case study approach accounts for comprehensive and spontaneous manner to be gathered and collated by means of primary and secondary research sources in the context of students' adaptation of ICT and ICT instruction essence and other relative points.

Preliminary literature is vital factor for the research process to achieve a unified degree of research validity and reliability posits, as the latter may serve as one important research method at hand. For specific assumption, survey questionnaire will be used in form of statement formats and be analyzed in accordance to five point scaling system of such five responses ratio classification. Through this method, first hand information will be achieved as there use of participants to give ideal responses that links to ICT success in research tone, tabular format of the case survey can be applied in research and may adhere to the following pattern, see below.

Several students challenge the unconditional acceptance of ICT in classes and reflect necessary conditions for making integration useful as ICT is technological development that reflects society and has its place within education. However, ICT obviously has its problems that over time will be addressed, ICT should continue to be promoted to assist with student based education and learning. Even though students express considerable interest in learning how to use technology they need consistent support and extensive training in order to consider themselves able for integrating it into instruction process. Ghana students will be interested in using ICT to attain better knowledge of technology and take advantage of possible learning benefits offered by ICT instruction in the context of classroom pathways.

Students' can be willing to explore open and communicative modes of IC whenever permitted, to adapt the use of ICT as connected to establishing knowledge systems. Students' attitude and acceptance to ICT has been supported by research evidence that emphasize situational character of knowledge and expertise in ICT domains. Research need to know more about the students' conceptualizations of pedagogical uses of ICT and about understandings of ways in which ICT affect process of their learning abilities.

TITLE/Name of the proposal:   Factors affecting smoking among school (9th &12th) grade in Oman : Smoking among school children 9thgrade to 12th grade in the sultanate of Oman   1-INTRODUCTION   The age of smoking initiation has dropped over the past four decades. Since behaviors and attitudes adopted in late childhood or early adolescence predicts future smoking, it is important to understand the smoking and other risk-taking behaviors and attitudes of children aged 12 and younger. There supports the idea of early identification and targeting of children at high risk of smoking in middle school, possibly as early as grade seven.   2-AIM OF THE STUDY a- There is a need to amicably evaluate such knowledge, attitude as well as behavior of school children in Oman those in 9 th and 12 th grade and inform them with regards to the consequences of smoking mostly affecting their health conditions; b- There is utmost goal for describing substantial affective factors associated wi

Introduction   Today's market is characterised by highly competitive organisations which are all vying for consumer's loyalty. Firms are faced with the challenge to maintain their own competitive edge to be able to survive and be successful. Strategies are carefully planned and executed to gain the ultimate goal of all: company growth. However, external factors are not the only elements which influence growth. There are also internal factors, components working within the organisation which shape the direction of the company. The analysis on the external and internal environment of Primark retailing industry

Introduction The omnipresence of global trends and innovations debunk the idea of business monopoly and empire states. Today, the trends are set to maximize the potential of human powers by trivializing simple phenomena in order to fashion complex and subtle effects. In the minds of prominent sociologists and philosophers these trivialization of occurrences brought about by man's deepest desire of uncovering the truth and meaning of life. However, our correspondence and connection with the truth is indirect and diluted which can only be accessible via representations and constructs. Hence, the necessity, though, not necessarily is, of excavating the truth embedded on phenomena became an ordinary human laborious pursuit. Moreover, due to rapid changes on various aspects of human life our reactions vary depending on the way we perceive it, while forming effective and efficient mechanisms become a mechanical elocutionary act. This fact is paralleled with the nature and condition of b
