The courts love it because it is punishment from a distance, albeit a chemical punishment, more convenient cheaper, viewed by some a more efficient judicial option but causing debilitation to compliance, not rehabilitation and sometimes irreversible tardive dyskinesia, but for some confused by the drugs, those who cannot metabolize the drugs, it is a lethal forced and excessively toxic drug treatment directly causing akathisic death.
