Topic Outline- The role of technology in world businesses, both large and small, has increased remarkably. Where the assets of businesses were once represented primarily by bricks and mortar, manufacturing facilities, rolling stock and physical inventories, many of the larger and more profitable commercial organizations today claim technology as their primary asset. Technology and other forms of intangible assets or intellectual property serve as the keystone of many large and small businesses all over the world (Watkins, 1998). There are different strategies that businesses use to achieve their goal, some use promotional materials, others give a different kind of service, while some rely on information technology (IT). IT is continuously undergoing certain changes and improvements one of this changes is blogging. Blogs are the latest and economical way to distribute information. It does not cause that much and it is not that difficult to maintain.

Problem Theme - The project is focused on determining the advantages and disadvantages of blogging as a business strategy. Through determining its benefits and disadvantages business can ascertain whether they need it or not.

Personal Theory - As a business strategy blogging would be beneficial. In a way it looks like a promotional material but more information and visual presentations can be placed on blogs to attract buyers and clients.

Expected Form of Answer- The expected form of answer revolves around blogging and how it can give benefits/ cause disadvantage when it is used as a business strategy.

Strategic IT value- The answer can create a strategic business IT outcome that will be valued by business. It will help businesses understand more how important the use of blogging is.

Research Question- The main research question is what are the benefits and disadvantages of using blog/blogging as a business strategy.

Process to collect primary data- To collect primary data the best method to use is interview of people who use blogging. Through such method a wider perspective and direct knowledge can be accumulated. They are the ones who know the advantages and disadvantages of blogging. A structured questionnaire will be prepared. This questionnaire will be given to the perspective respondents for them to give their answers as honestly as they can.

Processing of collection of primary data - As mentioned the interview will be done in a way that participants will be asked for some of their time and then they will be given questionnaires to answer. This questionnaire not only contains the information needed, it will contain the purpose of the study and a statement indicating that all information they will divulge will be made confidential. The participants can ask anything in the questionnaire they can't understand.

Research Method and Collection Protocol - The research will use the descriptive method to determine the benefits and disadvantage of blogging used as business strategy. Descriptive research tries to explore the cause of a particular event or situation. It also wants to present facts concerning the nature and status of a situation, as it exists at the time of the study (Creswell, 1994). In addition, such method tries to describe present conditions, events or systems based on the impressions or reactions of the participants of the research.

Summary - There are different strategies that businesses use to achieve their goal, one is through the use of information technology. Since IT is continuously undergoing certain changes particularly blogging, there is a big possibility that blogging can also be used as a business strategy. By undergoing the study, this theory can be proven and can be a big help for businesses.

The analysis on the external and internal environment of Primark retailing industry

Introduction The omnipresence of global trends and innovations debunk the idea of business monopoly and empire states. Today, the trends are set to maximize the potential of human powers by trivializing simple phenomena in order to fashion complex and subtle effects. In the minds of prominent sociologists and philosophers these trivialization of occurrences brought about by man's deepest desire of uncovering the truth and meaning of life. However, our correspondence and connection with the truth is indirect and diluted which can only be accessible via representations and constructs. Hence, the necessity, though, not necessarily is, of excavating the truth embedded on phenomena became an ordinary human laborious pursuit. Moreover, due to rapid changes on various aspects of human life our reactions vary depending on the way we perceive it, while forming effective and efficient mechanisms become a mechanical elocutionary act. This fact is paralleled with the nature and condition of b

Health Impacts of Air Pollution from Motor Vehicles: An Empirical Study of Sydney Research Proposal

In Sydney, for instance, motor vehicles is one of major source of toxic and carcinogenic air pollutants as motor vehicles contribute approximately 80% of nitrogen oxide to the atmosphere. Further, the two prime pollution problems in Sydney are photochemical smo
